On HUANG Dao-zhou's Duanbeiyan

Broken stone inscriptions was one of the important materials for making inkstone,and HUANG Dao-zhou's Duanbeiyan was made of a fragment of Momiaoting' stone inscriptions with SU Shi's verses.This not only reflected his recognition on the art of calligraphy of Su Shi,but also embodied his admiration on the personality of SU Shi.After HUANG Dao-zhou's martyrdom,Duanbeiyan spreaded from one person to another,and these people wrote many poems about it.They cherished HUANG Dao-zhou's Duanbeiyan,both because of SU Shi's calligraphy and personality,and because of HUANG Dao-zhou's articles and integrity,which manifests the cultural psychology of advocating and learning the spirit of the ancients.
