A Tentative Analysis of Su Shi's State of Mind in Huangzhou

Abstract

This paper has Su Shi’s literary creation as its major guidance and explores the complicated state of mind of Su Shi after he was exiled to Huang Zhou in the following three perspectives of Su Shi: the scholar’s personality the tired guest’s state of mind,the nobleman's spirit and the common man's feelings,and the poet's traits and the philosopher's bosom,in order to offer a rough outline about the multiplicity of Su Shi's character and personality.
