Abstract
[Objective]To evaluate the effect of automated Reticulocyte counting by Sysmex XE-2100. The blood samples of patients and normal subjects were detected by XE-2100 and Miller's method recommended by International Committee for standardization in Haematology(ICSH). The linearity of Sysmex XE-2100 was perfect when RC counting was (4.0~770.0)×109/L (r =0.998), with intra-assay CV 3.69%and inter-assay CV 4.36%, carryover rate of 0%; There were highly correlation between Sysmex XE-2100 and Miller's method in 78 results of patients and normal subjects (r =0.977, P 0.001), and the results were no significant differences (P 0.05). [Conclusion] The RC counting by Sysmex XE-2100 is a highly accurate, precision and easily operated method, it also can provide many new parameters for clinical usage.
