The Humanistic Education: Cognition of Deepening Humanities Education

Abstract
This article introduces the education of humanities in terms of its Chinese and Western origins, and the reasons and consequences of its loss. It also defines the position of humanities education in modern higher education by pointing out that only by restoring the humanistic spirit can education really embody its greatness. Some viable measures for deepening humanities education are also put forward.
