Innovating Chinese Painting with Traditional Thinking

Chinese painting is a direct illustration of Chinese traditional thinking in painting.In an era of globalization,the innovation of Chinese painting is inevitable.Starting from the connection between Chinese traditional thinking and Chinese painting,we analyze the genesis of Chinese painting in the regard of Chinese traditional thinking.However,this genesis needs to be re-examined by the contemporary painters under present condition.Learning and absorbing from the exotic paintings is necessary external driver of the innovation of Chinese painting while the fundamental innovation should consider the characteristics of the originality of Chinese painting,dig out the inherent value attributes,and better manifest the charm of Chinese arts and the trait of Chinese ethic.
