Abstract

MBR is one of the new water treatment technologies,which has broad prospects,but membrane fouling is a subject problem of hindering its development.Many reported achievements are summarized.The cause and mechanism of membrane fouling are analyzed,then the emphases of avoiding and controling are pointed out.Finally membrane fouling and foreground of MBR are properly estimated.
