Optimization of Membrane Bioreactor

Membrane bioreactor(MBR) was paid more and more attention for municipal and industrial wastewater treatments.However,membrane fouling was one main obstacle for wider application of MBR.Over the past few years,considerable investigations were performed to understand the mechanism of MBR fouling formation,and the measures to mitigating membrane fouling were discussed.The reasons of membrane fouling and measures were summarized to reduce membrane fouling simply on the basis of previous research.
