Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of two-dimensional ultrasound and color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI) in the diagnosis of breast lumps. Methods 120 patients with breast lumps were examined with B-mode ultrasound to observe the size, shape, place, border and inside echoes of breast lumps, and were surveyed on the inside and peripheral blood flow with color Doppler ultrasonography. Results The ultrasonographic detection rate of breast lumps was 100%,the accurate diagnostic rate of malignant breast tumor and benign tumor were 88.5% and 85.7%,respectively.Smooth edges and lateral echo attenuation were showed in benign tumors with blood flow signals degree Ⅰ~Ⅱ.Most malignant lumps had irregular shape, indistinct border, irregular inside echoes and blood flow signals degreeⅡ~Ⅲ.The Vmax,RI and PI of malignant lumps were significantly higher than those of benign lumps(P0.01).Conclution Two-dimensional ultrasound and color Doppler flow imaging might possess high clinical practical value in diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumors.
