The Clinical Value of Color Doppler Ultrasound in Differentiating Benigh and Malignant Breast Tumor

Abstract

Objective To assess the diagnostic values of color Doppler ultrasound in differenting benign and malignant breast tumour.Methods 253 of breast lumps in 198 cases diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasound and were verified by pathology after operation.All data were analyzed.Results There were plentiful blood flow signals in malignant breast lumps.the maximal blood flow velocity(PSV)and the resistant index(RI)of malignant breast lumps was(24.33± 0.35)cm/s and(0.71±0.22),and benign lesions was(11.28 ±0.39) cm/s and(0.57±0.11),respectively.The value of PSV and RI were significantly higher in the malignant lesions than those in the benign ones(P0.01).Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound has important diagnostic values in differenting benign and malignant breast tumour.
