Correlation of TCM syndromes and H.pylori eradication rate of chronic gastritis patients

Objective Analyzing correlation between TCM syndromes and H.pylori eradication rate of chronic gastritis patients by cluster analysis.Methods We identified 137 chronic gastritis cases that received H.pylori eradication treatment as research objects and analyzed their TCM syndromes and H.pylori eradication rate with K-means cluster analysis.Results According to the result of cluster analysis,patients were divided into four categories;Liver-stomach disharmony type,Weak stomach type,Both liver qi stagnation and stomach deficiency type,Both stomach hygropyrexia and yin injury type.Among these types.H.pylori eradication rate of both stomach hygropyrexia and yin injury type is the lowest(50%),eradication rate of both liver qi stagnation and stomach deficiency type is the highest(90.9%).Conclusion Patients with chronic gastritis with different TCM syndromes type have different H.pylori eradication rate.
