Abstract
As the next generation technique of the construction of the communication network,the NGN is the focal point that arousingthe concern ofthe communication trade. This paper introduces the background and the conception of the NGN,puts forward the core techniques and services of the NGN,and probes into the commercial model and service pattern ofthe NGN.
