Abstract
Objective:To explore the molecular and cellular mechanism of SBYHF in ameliorating renal fibrosis through observing the effect of proliferation and expression of fibronectin and interleukin-6 in rat glomerular mesangial cells. Methods:The proliferation of rat GMC fostered in SBYHF was detected by CCK-8;the fibronectin(FN) secretion was detected by ELISA;and the Interleukin-6(IL-6) was detected by real time PCR.Results:SBYHF significantly inhibited GMC proliferation(P0.01) and decreased the expression of FN and IL-6(P0.01).Conclusion:SBYHF may reduce the FN secretion and down-regulate the expression of IL-6 to inhibit the proliferation of rat glomerular mesangial Cells. This may be the mechanism of SBYHF in ameliorating renal fibrosis.
