Construction of Wuxi Special Categorized Plants Gardens

In the 1980s, several famous gardens were built in Wuxi. Small, delicate and with their own characteristics, they not only held the heritage of classical Chinese gardening art, but also draw the essence of modern private gardens of Wuxi. They are located in advantageous districts and were handled suiting local conditions of hills and water, with varied and twisted space. These gardens all have a common characteristic, namely: with a species or type of plants as the planting feature and the garden named after it, the gardens were made into special categorized plants gardens which include the functions of appreciation, science popularization and scientific research. Through the analysis of the forming process, gardening features, species conservation and development prospects of Wuxi modern gardens——special categorized plants gardens, the prospects and methods of building special gardens of flowers and marking garden brand were put forward and the way of improving the quality and content of gardens is studied, so as to expand the nationwide influence of Wuxi gardens.
