Abstract
While the 1997 Criminal Law has stipulated the unit crime,it gives no clear definition of it.As a result,judicial practice is often puzzled while ascertaining the subject of unit crime.The law ought to give a clear definition about the unit crime,and the term of corporate crime should be revised.The scope of company,enterprise,institution,organ,or public organization,enumerated by the 1997 Criminal law as the subject of unit crime,should also be clarified by Judicial Interpretation in order to implement the principal of a legally prescribed punishment for a specified crime.
