Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of the mechanical ventilation for aged patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) concurrent Ⅱ type with respiratory failure. Methods Mechanical ventilation was given in 64 patients with COPD Ⅱ type respiratory failure. To observe the pH value,PaO2 and PaCO2 before and after mechanical ventilation. Results The pH value and PaO2 were increased,PaCO2 declined obviously after mechanical ventilation, there was a significant difference significance(P0.01).Conclusion Mechanical ventilation was an optional effective way in treatment of aged patients with COPD concurrent Ⅱ type respiratory failure, and it's worthy of clinic application.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
