Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical significance of detection of coagulation function in pregnant women and their newborns.Method The data of prothrombin time(PT),thrombin time(TT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT) and fibrinogen(Fib) in 216 pregnant women and their newborns were retrospectively analyzed, and compared with randomly selected 40 normal non-pregnant women. Results The differences between the pregnant women and the non-pregnant women in Fib was significant(P0.05),and weren′t significant in the other three parameters(P0.05);and coagulation test results of four in newborns had significant differences with pregnant women(P0.05);particularly more significant difference in preterm neonates(P0.01).Conclusion Blood Fib concentration is increased in pregnant women,in hypercoagulable state, and neonatal blood(especially preterm children) is in a low coagulation status.Newborns and their mother′s coagulation factor correlation does not exist.
