On Practical Materialism:A Revisit

Reviewing the discussion about in the 1980s,we maintain that dialectic should be adhered to,because,firstly,the name of practical materialism itself is but an erroneous extension,not the original meaning of Marx and Engels.Secondly,materialism of practice should not be equaled with materialism.Thirdly,the ontological thought is not outdated,and will never be.Fourthly,epistemology,practice theory,subjective theory,the study of man will not replace ontology,but be complementary each other.lasty,the objective world does exist,the birth of dialectic completely correspond ed to the fundamental spirit of natural science since the 19th century,while the development of the modern natural science in the 20th century and the progress of the civilization of the human society also corresponded to the dialectic materialism.
