Abstract

Objective: To contrastive analysis the clinical effect of small incision cataract extraction and phacoemulsification. Methods: Totally 120 cases (120 eyes) elderly patients with cataract were divided into control group and observe group, control group with phacoemulsification cataract extraction was performed on 50 cases (50 eyes), observe group with small incision cataract extraction was performed on 70 cases (70 eyes). Compared the clinic index of two operation in operative and postoperative. Results: After 1 month and 3 months operation, postoperative vision had no significant difference between the two methods (P0.05); Mean astigmatism of 7 days and 1 month after operation had no significant difference (P0.05); Complication of the two groups had no significant difference (P0.05). Conclusion: The effectiveness of the two groups is close, small incision cataract extraction is easy master, with small incision, less trauma, good restored visual acuity, small corneal astigmatism and few complication, and is more adaptive to be popularized in primary hospital.
