Breeding and cultivation technology of Feng-tai-zhan,a new rice variety with good quality——The practice of theory of rice core germplasm

Feng-tai-zhan is a conventional rice variety as early and late season rice,developed by Rice Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences using core germplasm breeding theory through crossing Tai-ao-si-miao with Feng-yuezhan.Its rice quality is up to 2nd grade by GB and Guangdong provincial standard.It is a rice with strong stem and high resistant to lodging,high-yield heterosis,good grain quality,high resistance to blast and middle resistance to bacterial blight.It was registered by Guangdong Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2009 after multiple trials in early-cropping seasons of 2007,2008.
