Abstract

The water culture experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of Cu(10 mg/L)on chlorophyll content, antioxidant enzyme system activity(SOD,POD,CAT),proline content, soluble protein content and MDA content of wheat seedling with different concentrations of Si(0,30,60,90,120,150 mg/L,SiO2).The results showed: At the action of Si(30,60,90 mg/L,SiO2),chlorophyll-a content, antioxidant enzymes system(SOD,POD) activity, proline content, soluble protein content of wheat seedling increased and MDA content droped, alleviating the toxicity of Cu on wheat seedlings; At the action of Si 150 mg/L,soluble protein content of wheat seedlings leaves decreased,MDA content increased, aggravating the toxicity of Cu on wheat seedlings. Results indicated that Si could alleviate the toxicity of Cu on wheat seedlings in certain concentration range, providing the theoretical basis of increasing silicon fertilizer at the wheat regional of Cu poison.
