Fulfilling function of teaching supervision to improve teaching quality of higher education

Teaching supervision,as a major component of teaching quality supervision system in higher education,is a system that guarantees the quality of teaching and promotes the development of higher educational institutions.By completely carrying out the national education policies,teaching supervision,in accordance with relevant regulations,supervises,examines,evaluates and guides the entire process of teaching activities and their management.Combining the practice with achievements of ten years' teaching supervision activities in our college with the characteristics of medical colleges teaching practice in the new situation,this paper mainly explores the necessity of the establishment of the system and the rules,patterns and characteristics of development in teaching supervision.These explorations perfect the teaching supervision activities,fulfill the function of teaching supervision in teaching quality guarantee system and,consequently,improve the teaching quality in our college.
