Study on Present Situation and Control Countermeasure of Land Desertification in Shanxi Province

Land desertification is one of global environment questions and it has threaten seriously survival and development of human society.Shanxi province is one of the areas of monitoring and controlling of national land desertification and its serious land desertification,farming drop in quality,degenerated lawn,have influenced sustainable development of agriculture and countryside.The main causes of desertification development are climate factors and economic activities of human beings.To prevent desertification,we should insist vegetation construction and engineering construction on,prevention and protection and exploitation,traditional management and technological innovation,the combination of social forces and strategic thinking,through the construction of ecological system,engineering system,piece-wise governance,implement ation step by step.
