Abstract

The characteristics of tailings resource in China are analyzed. The approaches of comprehensive utilization and its current situation are summarized with a number of examples and data. The comprehensive utilization of tailings is the necessary choice of mining industry, and it will bring tremendous social benefits in respect to treatment and environmental pollution.
