MEBO Wound in Burn Patients in Moxibustion Curative Effect

Objective To observe the clinical effect of MEBO in treating burn wounds of the local moxibustion. Methods In this hospital from May 2010 to June 2014 of 25 patients treated by moxibustion cause third degree burn patients,wound area of about 1 ×1 cm to 4 × 5 cm patients as treatment group,on the application of MEBO Wound Dressing once a day. At the same period of outpatient treatment of equal depth equal area moxibustion 25 burn cases,external application of iodophor gauze dressing treatment as control group,local changes of 2 groups of wound and healing. Results The results treatment group by dressing method of direct healing in 24 cases,accounting for 96% in the treatment group. The average non operation wound healing time was 24. 5 days; the control group by dressing method of direct healing in 13 cases,accounting for 52% of the control group,the late granulation wound dressing for operation skin graft healing in 12 cases,accounting for 48% of the control group,the number of cases of non operation operation the average wound healing time was 41. 6 days to exclude. The patients in the treatment group the average healing time of non operation is shortened obviously have significant difference compared with the control group.( P 0. 01) patients in the treatment group were dressing pain alleviated compared with the control group with significant difference.( P 0. 05) in treatment group and control group had significant difference between wound effect.( P 0. 05) Conclusion MEBO can promote epithelial growth,reduce the suffering of patients and shorten the time of wound healing,is a local moxibustion and small area burn wound depth in patients with ideal medicine for external use,it is worth in clinical application.
