Abstract
Objective To study the chemical composition of the rhizome of Smilax bockii Warb. Methods The compounds were isolated by chromatography on silica gel column and identified on the basis of physico-chemical constants and spectral analysis.Result Five compounds were isolated as kaempferol (Ⅰ);kaempferol-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅱ);dihydrokaempferol(Ⅲ); quercetine (Ⅳ); isorhamnetin(Ⅴ).Conclusion The above five compounds are obtained from this plant for the first time.
