Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical therapy efficacy of postherpetic neuralgia with narrow-band Ultraviolet B(NB-UVB) and spinal nerve root block with ropivacaine. Methods:Sixty cases with postherpetic neuralgia were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in test group were treated with a combination of NB-UVB and spinal nerve root block with ropivacaine, the control group were treated with spinal nerve root block with ropivacaine alone. Two groups were evaluated the efficacy and safety by visaual analogue scale,at one month after treatment and six months from hospital. Results:At one month afer treatment, the effective percentage of the test group was 96.67%,but the control was 80.00%,the two groups was a significant gender difference(χ2=4.043,P0.05).At six months after hospital, the test group of pain vanished 20 cases, alleviated 2 cases, never relieved 1 case;the control group of pain vanished 10 cases, alleviated 5 cases, never relieved 8 cases. The difference of two groups was a statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion:The paitients of PNH were obvious pain relief effects by spinal nerve root block with ropivacaine. The method of a combination of NB-UVB and spinal nerve root block with ropivacaine in PNH patients obviously reduced the patients'VAS mark, and clearly better than nerve root block alone.
