Abstract

This paper analyzed the background and significance of Electronic Map Tile Data Management System construction firstly, then it briefly described the choice of GIS platform, focusing on the framework design, function design, database design, finally it developed an Electronic Map Tile Data Management System which based on VS.net 2008 and ArcEngine platform as well as realizing the basic functions of the system.
