Abstract

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of P-glycoprotein(P-gp)and Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)in non-small cell lung cancer tissue. Methods The expression and distribution of P-gp proteins were detected by immunohistochemical and HIF-1α by in situ nucleic acid hybridization methods. The patients were followed-up with three-year,five-year of survival rate. Results Compared with the adjacent normal tissues, the expressions of P-gp and HIF-1α in cancer tissues markedly increased(P0.05).The expressions of P-gp and HIF-1α in cancer tissues were correlated with tumor differentiation, stage, lymph node metastasis(P0.05).Conclusion Hypoxia and drug resistance participate in non-small cell lung cancer occurrence. The detection of P-gp and HIF-1α in non-small cell lung cancer tissue for prognosis of patients may have warning function.
