Abstract

The method to synthesize PDMDAAC-AM(Poly DMDAAC-AM) with AM(Acylamide) and DMDAAC(DimethylDiallylAmmoniumChloride) as starting materials, coal oil as dispersont in inverse emulsion was discussed. Based on the theory of synthesis in inverse emulsion,five factors to the viscosity of product and conversion efficiency of the copolymerization were studied, such as the ratio of volume of oil to water, the initiator dosage, the ratio of DMDAAC to AM, initiate temperature and reacting temperature. Product with high solid content(45%) and 800.5?cm3/g viscosity is got at optimized institution, which is DMDAAC/AM=2∶8, oil/water=3∶7, K 2S 2O 8% (as initiator)=0.05%, and initiate temperature=45?℃.
