COM-based Design and Implementation of Intelligent TTS System

Abstract

Using the COM of speech synthesis engine provided by Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1 speech development pakage,this paper developes an intelligent TTS system with Matlab which can read the texts written in both Chinese an English, greatly reduces the development cycle of speech synthesis application program. The experiment proves that this system is practical and reliable,it has strong application value and can be widely applied in the fields of blind computer, immediate information service, speech warning prompt.
