Study on the clinical curative effect of tanreqing injection in the treatment of bronchopneumonia in children

Abstract
Objective:To observe the curative effect and safety of tanreqing injection in the treatment of bronchopneumonia in children.Methods:62 children with bronchopneumonia were randomly divided into observation group(n=31) and control group(n=31). Two groups received azithromycin for 7 days. In addition, the observation group was given tanreqing injection for 7 days. Results:There was significantly difference between two groups in duration of fever and disappearing time of cough,expectoration,asthma,pulmonary rattle and consolidation as well as hospital day (P0.05). The total rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (93.55% vs 77.42%,P0.05). The recurrence rate of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group(2.94% vs 12.90%,P0.05),and tanreqing injection had few side effects. Conclusion:Tanreqing injection is effective and safe to treat bronchopneumonia of children.
