Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents of the organic acid part from Camptosorus sibiricus Rupr..Methods The compounds were isolated by chromatography on silica gel column and identified on the basis of physico-chemical constants and spectral analysis. Results Eleven compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as caffeic acid(1),courmaric acid(2),protocatechuic acid(3),4-hydroxybenzoic acid(4),isovanillic acid(5),2,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid(6),cinnamic acid(7),succinic acid(8),palmitic acid(9),trans-p-coumaric acid-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(10) and caffeic acid-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(11) respectively. Conclusions Compounds 2-11 were obtained from this genus for the first time.
