Abstract

A new method using ion-chromatography with anion exchange column and suppressed conductivity detection was established to simultaneously determining seven organic acids including lactic acid, propionic acid, pyruvic acid, malic acid, dihydroxyacetone phosphate, citric acid, isocitric acid, and three kinds of nucleotides including AMP, ADP, and ATP.The separation was performed on an IonPac AS11-HC column with KOH solution as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.00 mL/min and at 30 ℃ of column temperature and with the injection volume of 25 μL.The relative standard derivation and the correlation coefficient was 0.39%~4.69% and 0.9906~0.9996, respectively. The recovery ranged from 80.71% to 94.02%.The method has been applied to simultaneously determine organic acids and nucleotides in thermoanaerobacter extracellular media with satisfactory results.
