The Textual Criticism of Xuyu

Xuyu,also known as Xuyu,often appears in plant name and the person's name in the history books. Discussion of Xu can be found in Zhuangzi and the Notes to Zhuangzi. From the the appearance of Zhuangzi,the author holds that Xuyu was identified as one of Jizi,Bigan and Wuzixu. But for the Xuyu's identity,the academic circles have not yet drawn final conclusion. Based on the study of a large number of historical literature classics,his lifetime,name,government post and reason of death,the author concludes that Xuyu is Jizi not Bigan and Wuzixu.
