Making decision on the initial planning idea and goal is a vital factor in terms of how to fulfill the scientific development perspective,carrying out the energy conservation and emission reduction strategy and implementing green lighting during the process of urban lighting planning and design in Beichuan.For the planning project to be implemented immediately,it is important to coordinate between the advantage of planning idea and the technical feasibility.To establish harmonious and warm urban lighting environment with local culture and ethnic features,the planning indexes should be integrated with engineering standards,and the urban lighting planning should be guided by the urban design ideas.
