Zhang Zai's Theory of Cultivation of the Open Mind

Abstract

In Zhang Zai's philosophy, mind has double dialectical structure that is objective existence and subjective activity and the substance and the function. zhang Zai's open mind (Da Xin) is a method that mind of recovery of the human nature and backing to it's origin recover to the nature, it is core of all cultivation. In Zhang Zai's opinion, the realm of people is my compatriots, nature are my friends is realm of all in one, which is realized through the open mind.
