Abstract
Schizophrenia is a serious,complex and debilitating mental disease.It displays a widely variable symptom profile including positive,negative or depressive symptoms and cognitive deficits.Drug therapy is necessary for rehabilitation schizophrenic patients to reduce the risk of relapse.Atypical antipsychotic drugs are currently the recommended major treatment for schizophrenia patients.This review describes the research progress on atypical antipsychotic drugs for rehabilitation of schizophrenia patients.
