Abstract
Objective To investigate clinical features of anterior ethmoidal nerve syndrome(AENS) and the effective therapies for this syndrome.Methods 26 cases with AENS received rhinoscope and CT examining to confirm the etiology of diseases.The orthopaedy for dedviation of nasal septum and plastic operation for middle nasal concha were taken according to the etiology of diseases.Results The follow-up was 6 to 24 months.Twenty two cases(84.6%) were with significant effective and 4 cases(15.4%) were with effective.Conclusions The examining by rhinoscope and CT scanning can significantly improve the diagnostic efficacy.The surgical intervention for AENS should be selected according to the etiology of diseases.
