Abstract
In order to know the properties of DA chlorine-containing disinfectant, examination of physicochemical indices, carrier quantitative germicidal efficacy test and field disinfection trial were carried out. The results showed that the killing rates of Bacillus subtilis var. niger spores exposed to the disinfectant solution containing available chlorine 1 000 mg / L for 20 min, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus exposed to the disinfectant containing available chlorine 250 mg / L for 1 min and Candida albicans exposed for 10 min were 100%. The disinfectant containing available chlorine 1 000 mg/ L with a 30 min contact time could destroy effectively the antigenicity of HBsAg. Wiping the surfaces of objects with the solution containing available chlorine 300 mg / L with a 10 min contact time could reduce the natural bacteria on the surfaces by over 90%. Capacity test demonstrated that the minimum eligible concentration was available chlorine 1 000 mg / L. Immersion in DA disinfectant containing available chlorine 1 000 mg / L for 72 h did not corrode stainless steel coupon, slightly corroded aluminum coupon and copper coupon and severely corroded carbon steel coupon. The results indicate that DA disinfectant has good broad-spectrum germicidal efficacy, but has corrosiveness.
