Abstract
Phytophthora capsici was cultured on the PDA medium mixed with 12 common pesticides to observe the growth of its mycelia by using the mycelium growth rate method. The results showed that these 12 fungicides displayed various inhibitory effects on mycelium growth of P. capsici, of which dimethomorph mancozeb WP 69 %, metalaxyl propamocarb WP 25 %, dimethomorph WP 50 % and cy- moxanil mancozeb WP 36 % were proved to be the most effective fungicides with their EC50 values being 1.862 1, 1.129 8, 3.419 8 and 6.309 6 μg/mL respectively, followed by copper metalaxyl WP 50 %.
