Abstract

Objective To analyze a major risk factor of the acute stage of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage for hematoma enlargement. Methods 235 cases of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage(71 cases of hematoma enlargement in patients)and clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. Results Hematoma enlargement occurred in 24 h or less accounted for 92.9%;hematoma expanding group of systolic blood pressure were higher than those without the expansion group(P0.01),bleeding hematoma enlargement group were higher than those without the expansion group(P0.01),hematoma expansion group mortality rate were han non-expanding group(P0.01),hematoma expansion group long-term alcoholics were more than non-expanded group(P0.01).Conclusion The systolic blood pressure, bleeding, hematoma volume,long-term history of heavy drinking is affecting a major risk factor for hematoma enlargement.Risk of hematoma expansion in patients with risk factors should closely monitor and take appropriate active treatment measures.
