Perioperative Nursing of Patients with Intracranial Aneurysm Undergoing Interventional Embolization

Objective To study the perioperative nursing essentials of patients with intracranial aneurysm treated by interventional therapy.Methods The perioperative data of 220 patients with intracranial aneurysm treated by interventional embolization from January 2009 to June 2010 were analyzed retrospectively.The perioperative nursing essentials were summarized accordingly.Results Totally 190 cases were completely obliterated;2 cases' anurysums ruptured in operation,and bleeding was controlled by endovascular coil occlusion.Twenty-eight cases were treated by decreasing the intracranial pressure,draining bloody cercbrospinal fluid postoperatively till recovery.Conclusoin We should emphasize the psychological nursing,make full preparation for operation.Keeping suitable position,observing the state of illness,operating anticoagulation and treating cerebral vasospasm are essential in the therapy.
