The nursing of intracranial aneurysms interventional therapy for coil embolization

Objective To explore nursing experience of intracranial aneurysm embolotherapy by endovascular coiling.Methods Standardized,systematic and thorough perioperative care was given to patients with intracranial aneurysm,including preoperative,intranperative and postoperative nursing.Results Thanks to dedicated nursing staff and their close observation and nursing,58 out of 62 cases did not have intracranial aneurysms rupture during and after surgery.They recovered well and were discharged.Conclusion Compared with traditional treatment,the interventional coil embolization therapy for intracranial aneurysm has advantages such as less injury,less complications,faster recovery and lower mortality rate.Adequate items preparation,close observation,surgery cooperation and postoperative complications nursing are important to a successful surgery.
