Abstract

Developing higher vocational education is a certain way to popularize higher education. The number of higher vocational colleges is 58% of the total number of universities and colleges.Demand of modern talents and development of higher education in the world show that an independent higher vocational education system is not only necessary but also feasible. A higher vocational college may be elevated to university status, and specialities of different levels can be allowed to co-exist, but this is not applicable to all the colleges.
