Abstract

The micronucleus test results of eel, loach,Carassius auratus gibelio, silver carp induced by Cd 2+ showed that Cd 2+ could induce the blood erythrocyte of the four varieties of freshwater fish to produce micronucleus, but the sensitivity of different species to the induction of Cd 2+ was different;there was a trend that the micronucleus rate of peripheral blood erythrocyte of the four varieties of fish could increase as the mass concentration of Cd 2+ increased within the range of the experiment dosages. This suggested that it was feasible to detect water mutagen by using micronucleus test of peripheral blood erythrocyte of fish.
