Abstract
The synthesis of glucose pentaisobutyrate using TiSiW 12 O 40 /TiO 2 as catalyst has been studied. The optimum conditions are:molar ratio of glucose to isobutyric acid is 1∶5.5, the quantity of catalyst is equal to 2% feed stock , the reaction temperature is 100~105℃,and the reaction time is 2.0h.TiSiW 12 O 40 /TiO 2 is an excellent catalyst for synthetizing glucose pentaisobutyrate and it's yield can reach over 89.6%.
