Abstract
This paper presents the principal contents and methods of load test for the completed long span cable-stayed bridge of Fengjie Changjiang River Bridge and conducts a comparative analysis of the field measured stress and deflection of the structure of the bridge in accordance with the theoretic calculation. The results of the test demonstrate that the theoretic analysis and design calculation methods applied to the bridge are reliable, the construction quality of the bridge is good, the rigidity and bearing capacity of the bridge can satisfy the design requirements, and the results may serve as reference to the design and load tests of the completed bridges of similar bridges.
