Abstract

Lentivirus can be developed as an important transgenic vector because it can infect dividing cells and non-dividing cells. Safety of the lentivirus vector are improved especially a vector named as the third generation lentivirus vector, which had been applied to transgenic animals and gene therapy research. Stable packaging cell lines were developed, which make production of lentivirus vector convenient.
