Abstract
Torsion vibration is one of the fault reasons of rolling mill's transmiss ion system,therefore it is necc-ssary to monitor torsion vibration o f transmission system with measurem ent of rolling torque.Based on the me a-surement and calculation of rolling torque of the rolling mill's transmi ssion system,the reasons resulting torsion vibration were analyzed.It states t hat the difference between the real v alue and the calculated value of rolling torque is small.Amonitoring,diagn osis and controlling systemfor tors ion vibration was designed.In this s ystem,the torsion vibration controlling a nd rolling process controlling were considered together.The application of this system in some steel rolling factories is satisfactory.The synthetic mo nitoring and intelligent diagnosis is devel-oping direction of torsion vibratio n monitoring and controlling system of rolling mill.
