Abstract
The content of Geo- spatial metadata is complicated and its quantity is enormous. It is practical and feasiblemethod to set up the Geo- spatial metadata for managing and sharing the data. This paper discusses the concept, the diffi-culties of management, and discusses metadata management taking example for ArcInfo8.
